Can you break a lease if you buy a home in Kansas
Currently, I rent a three bedroom home. My landlord raised my rent so now I am in the process of finding me a house. If I am in a lease when I purchase my home, can break the lease without a penalty? (I am in the state of Kansas)

I know of no state that allows you to break a lease for the purpose of buying a home without some sort of penalty. Check your lease for a termination/buy out fee.

Only if you can come to an agreement with your landlord or buy yourself out of the lease.
