How do I identify the manufactor of a shower valve?

Look for name on shower head sometimes... obvious is to look on plate... (duh?)... and then... well you just got to punt!

You could take a picture and using the advanced feature on this site, post it and see if one of us knows who made it.

Also, could take plate to local plumbing supply company... show them.. they should be able to get parts or refer you to someone that can.
