    Honeywell RTH230B heat only wiring
I've installed the 230B thermostat in my basement to control one zone of baseboard heat. The furnace is oil fired hot water and all the zones are run by zone valves. I must be missing something because the thermostat is not controlling properly.

Because I'm only using this for heat how do I hook this up properly? Also, there is a jumper in the thermostat but I'm not sure if I should leave it there or remove it.

Here is a link to the thermostst instructions.

    Thank you for your help.

Thinking you only need the 2 wire heating only instructions,, red wire to rh white wire to w, the jumper which is probably jumping from rh to rc, which isn`t needed unless you are trying to send a signal to a/c,, if you are using a 3 wire system the 3rd wire probably green should go to the g post,, for fan, hope this is of some help
