Should I block my ex from my buddylist?

I did, I removed her altogether... I doubt any sort of reconciliation is going to be very meaningful over the internets.

If you leave her on, she'll know when you're on or not as you may also have an indication about her activity... to some degree... who needs that?

    Yep. Block. Delete.

She can't contact you. And you have no idea if she's on. Go on through life as if she never existed.

    Most breaks are for good.

Up to you... if you find it distracting, sure... do it. I'm guessing you do, or you wouldn't have posted this.

Maybe its how I'm wired. Usually after a breakup I've completely cut out the ex from my life. In one case I became friends with her again, but only after a year or so, and only after I had moved on... and the break wasn't really all that ugly to begin with.

So... are you a "bad person" or being "immature" if you do this? Mostly no. what's your goal? To punish your ex? To get your ex out of your space? Both?

If your trying to move on, YES, this is essential to block, delete.

If you are committed to doing NC, then yes, you should.

From personal experience, yes. Delete. Block. Do what is necessary. You don't need the unexpected window to pop up and flood you with memories.

Purge the buddy list, my friend.
