Hi all,
Just in case anyone out there was familiar with this issue or indeed just interested in world news, today was a very historic day in Australia.
After years of politicking the Federal Government apologised to our indigenous people for past mistreatments and in particular to the "stolen generation".

Hopefully this will be the trigger to improve the welfare and quality of life had by our Aboriginies.
I saw that on the news, Skell, and I agree with you. Long overdue.
Are they going to get all the land back ?

Correct . A meaningless apology that makes the person making the apology feel good.
It is about time. We have things brewing here with the Lakota Tribe. I've been watching it and wondering how it will play out since the U.S. government will never apologize to anyone.
