Ice in Crawl Space Under Tarp
 I'm building a new home with crawl space. I put sand /plastic/sand. Floor got very wet for one month before roof on in November. Then I put plastic tarp (gray) over sand floor. I'm putting furnace/insulation and jiprock soon up stairs.
When I crawl on tarp you can hear ice cristals crunching under neath. I looked and can see thin layer of ice on sand.
I will be turning heat on soon,What is the best and most quick way to get remove moisture?

Once you are totally closed up and heated the moisture will eventually evaporate. New construction has a lot of moisture from paint, drywall taping and such but it all goes away. The crawl will be the last to go. If you want to speed this up put a fan in the crawl and set your furnace fan to the ON position rather than AUTO.
