I'm looking for a film from 70's (I think) about a man in a jungle (Brazil, maybe?) who builds a boat and pulls it over a mountain?

Fitzcarraldo, directed by Werner Herzog and starring chronic nutcase Klaus Kinski. I believe this is the one where the two long-time collaborators were actively plotting to murder each other.
