    F1 student - CPT taxes
    Hello

I am a citizen of India, here in USA for MS in San Diego, CA on F1 visa. My employment history for 2007 is as follows:

    Jan-May:TA in my department
    Jun-Aug: Internship on full-time CPT
    Sep-Dec: Internship on part-time CPT

In addition, I received a tuition waiver (TA) for the Spring 2007 semester and an academic scholarship of $1000 in Fall 2007.

I have received three W2s totalling my wages for 2007 to about $27800. The Federal and State taxes have been deducted at source totalling up to $3500 approx.

Which forms do I file for 2007 taxes? Which deductions can I claim? How much can I expect to get back?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Thank You.

Unless you arrived in the U.S. prior to 1 January 2003, you are a non-resident alien for 2007.

If so, you must file Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ.
