My blower will start and stay on without any problem, but the engine sounds weak and the air flow is minimal. What can I do myself

Change the air cleaner. Most can be thrown in the washer and thouogly dried.

Could be too much back pressure due to the exhaust clogging up, this is a serious problem with smaller 2 cycle engines.

Both posters are correct but you may also just need to adjust and/or clean the carb. Did the problem develop slowly over time or just bingo?
