How to calculate federal taxes for Social Security?
    Hello,

My husband and I had to pay a lot of taxes back this year; Could you advise me on how to calculate my federal taxes withheld from my income for preparation next year ? Also if you could guide me to where I can find the form to change the taxes.

The form you need is W4 - ask your employer for one, or follow the link below, and submit it to your HR department. There are instruction on how to complete it if both you and your husband are employed - you basically claim fewer exemptions on your W4, so that your employer withholds a bit more tax with each paycheck.

Do a new W4. Follow the instructions properly for the correct allowances.
