My company is Reengineering I'm 8.5 Months pregnant can I get terminated?
Nowadays a company can terminate or lay you off for any and no reason. It seems that companys don't really care about their employees now like they did years ago. Unless you are virtually indispensable to your company, I cannot say one way or another.
Do you have a contract or do you have a union ?
Does your company have paid maturnity leave or paid sick leave that you will be able to use. OR will you be out on FMLA unpaid leave or merely unpaid company leave.
Normally if you go out on leave they may not actually fire you until you are released to return to work, where they fire you upon your return and relase to return to work.
If you could be laid off or fired if you were not pregnant, you can be if you are. They just can not do it because you are pregnant
