Constructing a bathroom on cement slab
    Hello,

I am constructing a bathroom in my garage on a cement slab. How much do I have to elevation the floor from the cement slab to achieve the appropriate drain for the toilet?

    Thanks

The toilet flange generally sits on the finished floor, so if you are just placing a toilet on the slab, the flange would rest on the slab (and should be anchored to it). If you are installing tile, then the flange would rest on that (and be anchored through the tile into the subfloor below for rigidity).
