    Felony conviction in Louisiana?
    I am a first time offender do I automatically get a pardon?? Is it after I get off p &p fill me in .will I ever get my hunting rights back?? I know full of questions but hey who to ask lol please someone help me out here fill in the blanks the system has left:confused:

    Hello cupcake:

    No, a pardon isn't automatic. They are very hard to get. You probably will not get your gun ownership rights back. You can hunt with a bow, though. Here's the good news. In some states you will be able to vote again.

    A first time felon in many cases does get an automatic pardon. You need to speak with your probation officer, or your lawyer.

    I received a First Time Offenders Pardon along time ago almost 23 years ago. Can I purchase a shotgun ?
