I have an 8 month old yellow lab who has always had a healthy appetite but he started not eating normally last night and has barely touched his food today... the bowl is still over 3/4 full which is not like him at all!! He normally eats it right away within 5 minutes and it is now coming up to his second feeding of the day. What is wrong with my precious Ollie?

Have you changed the food brand? Do you have any types of poison that he may have gotten into? I'm sure labman will be by to answer your question. But do not take mine or anyone else's advice about the ABSOLUTE health of your dog. I do not know of a licensed veternarian on our sites, if the problem continues I would certainly seek the opinion of a vet.

Ty if he is not any better soon I will being taking him to the vets in the morning! I will not waste any time as this is not my little bundle of joy:) that's is always at my feet and loves to play... he is sleeping a lot and not drinking much at all now

Opps nothing he can get into here kept in a separate area that he has no access to and same food.

Well, I would say get them to the vet then.

To let you know Ollie is doing great!! :) Gave him half a gravel on Sunday and by Monday morning and a few poops later he was back to himself!! I am so thankful he is OK!! He is my best friend whether he knows it or not lol he is back to chewing anything and everything and wanting to play and eating like its his last (as always) ty so much for all your advice:)
