    Furnace pilot light
:( I am having a problem with my pilot light going out in very windy conditions. I have a coleman furnace in a mobile home. Any ideas on how I can correct this problem? Dan

The trouble with coleman type furnaces is the combustion air often creates a wind tunnel effect in the combustion area of the furnace which is sealed. An option is to get an updated flue cap which Coleman redesigned several years ago, which might help, or perhaps the pilot oriface is dirty, or as a last resort, the flue may need to be extended with a kit. Usually the cap does the trick.
