    Kitchen sink vent?
Can some one guide me to a picture of what it looks like in the plunbing system from the kitchen sink to the main drain. I'm wondering how the sink drain and the vent need to come together to avoid the glug, and or siphoning in the sink trap. Thanks for any help. Curtis:)

Most sinks are in front of a window so the drain goes into a wall below the sink and immediately turns 90 degress left or right. Once the drain goes past the edge of the window a vent pipe Tees into the drain line and goes up, eventually to the roof, and the drain continues toward the main sewer pipe for the home. If you sink gurgles you may have a partially blocked vent, rod most effectively from the roof.
