Tax deduction on Green Card expsense
    Hi,
I am currently on H1-B as a full time employee and do itemize deductions.
Can I claim the following as deductions? If so under which category on 1040
    1. Green Card related fees. For example, I had to go to a doctor and pay him close to $600 for a mandatory medical checkup required to file I-485 application
    2. Visa stamping fees.
I went to India on vacation, but had to pay close to $250 in visa processing fees to come back to work in US.
    3. Other expenses (travel & lodging) to get Visa stamped?
    4. Internet connection fee as I need it to support work (am on production support on call 2 weeks per month)

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks & Regards
    Praveen
