    Can someone really forgive you!
OK I did something really stupid to some guy I only met once. Anyway how long can someone forgive you.has anyone had an experience that someone forgave you after months or years after an apology... Its been 5 months and I don't think he actually has forgiven me yet or if he every will...

Well, it really does depend on the situation. Being that you only met him once and he hasn't forgiven you for 5 months, you must have done something bad. But don't regret it, live life with lessons, just take it as OK you won't do that to anyoe else again. And he was jjust there to show you what it would do. And actually I just forgave someone about a week ago after 8 months. It was just something I had to get over. And maybe he's getting over it. Just give it time. And if he can't forgive you thast his problem. Don't worry about it. As long as you know your sorry everythign should be fine.

Sometimes you need to forgive yourself before someone else can forgive you.

That's way to long to wait for forgiveness. How about as the last poster says, forgive yourself, and chalk it up, and move beyond this.

    Forgiveness is always possible.

As the above post clearly stated, it is important that you learn to forgive yourself as well.

That is the only way to move forward.

Forgiveness is for you, by you to you, so you can move on.
