    Possible eating disorder?
Hey I'm 16, female and I've always had self esteem issues to do with my body, as in I think I'm fat and I'm not although I can't really convince my subconcious that I'm not fat.

I'm back at school now and have been for a week and everyday so far I have had, a coffee in the morning.. nothing at recess.. nothing at lunch.. 1 little thing when I get home.. then dinner and I have been putting out less than I normally do

I had to get a medical a couple of days ago and had to get weighed, I was 44kg, and the nurse said I was bordering an unhealthy weight :(

I know its not very good and if I keep this up I'm going to have serious health issues but I really can't convince myself that I'm not fat

    HELP! any suggestions?

It sounds like anorexia. Anorexia is about control. We control what we eat and how much we weigh. There is something else out of control in your life. Find out what it is. Remember that you can't control other people, things or events. That's out of your hands, so relax.

You can control yourself. Take care of your body, don't starve it. That may sound simple, but it can be the hardest thing to do. Get some counselling. Don't just sit there feeling empty. Talk to others about it. And whatever you decide to do, please don't substitute one habit for another. That's taking the easy way out and the long way 'round.
