    Fan on Oven not working
The fan on my electric oven (freestanding) is not working. The element is on it's highest setting and cannot be turned off at the switch. Do I need a new element? Please help an enthusiastic DIYer.

    Thanks

    Okay Annie,

I'm hooked, why would an exhaust fan have an element? Usually that term is used for coils or top burners on an range? Does you fan also burn the heated air as it passes through the fan?

Can you get me a make and model, please.

To the best of your knowledge, can you describe the connection from the island to the fan.
