    Never-Again
Boyfriend doesn't know when to stop!
Right now I'm going out with my ex Pat we went out when we were younger and we have been friends with benefits at some points in the past 2 and a half years when we weren't together. Everything is really great like we have always had a really good connection with each other and he's a really great person I love him a lot and he loves me back a lot it's crazy because we didn't even know why we broke up in the first place really or why we didn't get back together sooner. There is only one problem and it's that when he drinks he gets a little out of control for me like he doesn't make sense and he just acts like a different person I've talked to him about it and he knows like he got a DUI on my birhtday last summer too which he is going to court for next month I think, and he was in a parking lot not on the road he went to park his car in a different spot so he wouldn't get towed which was dumb but still. Since we've been together he's been a lot better but that's because I'm watching him and we always have to leave early or he'll pass out or be obnoxiously drunk . Just wondering what I should do? And I don't want to break up with him cause I love our relationship I just hate it when we go out that he can't take care of himself really.

He is in the early stages of alcoholism, and it getss worse as time goes by. Look at the fact, where would he be without you holding his hand, and watching out for him. Be honest with yourself on that one. It will get worse, but if you can convince him to deal with this problem now, it may save his life. Find out through ALANON, how best to approach him about this.
