    New line within cell?
Is there a way to force a new line within a cell?

I'd like to have content like

    1. one
    2. two
    3. etc.
    (within the cell)

I primarily use Google Docs spreadsheet, so hopefully if something works in one spreadsheet it will work in Google spreadsheets.

    Thanks!

Can't think how to insert a return or new line, but a way to "fake" this is to type in your text with a space(s) between each argument then format the cell with wordwrap, and then adjust the width of the column such that the words appear as though they are on different lines. Works in Excel.

    Try Ctrl+enter or Shift+Enter

I tried that but no matter how many spaces I entered, the spreadsheet only read one of them.

That's it! (shift+enter moves the selection to the cell above the currently selected cell)

    Thanks guys!
