Hi... I've been on birth control for 3 and a half months now. This week I'm supposed to be on my period. But I'm not... And I don't have any signs of being on it soon... My boyfriend and I do have sex... But we always use a condom too. Could the absence of my period in this case mean that I'm pregnant? Or could it just be stress? Or something?? :confused:

Instead of wondering, the best thing to do is buy a home pregnanct test and take it or go to a clinic and get a pregnancy test done. Then you will know for sure and you can decide from there... so what are you waiting for@!!

Welcome to the forum. What saan says is partly right - you need a test - but the golden rule here is when in doubt - always see a doctor!

Unprotected sex can give you more than worries about getting pregnant, even if you take the pill - as the pill is sensitive to antibiotics, and if you get the stomach flu and have to vomit, then naturally the pill will not work here either.

You need to see the doctor, change boyfriends (especially if he refuses to use a condom), get tested for other infections and/or disease he could have given you that you did not know of, and then start taking better care of your body from now on. After all, it's the only one you've got, and you need to be more responsible about it.

In today's world, you need education before practice of any type, and with sex, it's more important than ever now.

Dear, if that's the case, what are you worried about, unless there was an accident at some point - which can happen with condoms too. Again, when in doubt, see your doctor for reassurance.

I'm going to venture a guess that it's your birthcontrol doing it to you. Sometimes that can make your period fluctuate as much as stress and pregnant. Just curious as to how old you and your boyfriend are, I didn't see that in your question and different ages can also have a different effect on your hormone balance and how well the because works.
