I was just wondering if 3 days was too soon to take a pregnancy test. It came out negative so that was good, but it was only after 3 days. Should I take another one in a few weeks or does negative mean negative??

3 days after what Curious? If u mean 3 days after intercourse then yes it is too soon. Depends where you are on your cycle... you need to wait until the day your period is due to find out if you have conceived during ovulation, although some tests claim to give early results. Need more information really.

If you mean 3 days after your period was supposed to start then technically it should have showed up, However it doesn't always, when I was pregnant with all 3 of my children and 2 miscarriages it never showed positive on a HPT until my period was about 10 days late for some reason, But I just knew myself that I was pregnant (they say a girl just knows and it was true in my case) It says on most of the boxes if you get a negative result to test again in 3 till 5 days time if your period hasn't started.

The doctors usually tell me to wait for a week or 2 to take a pregnancy test.
I think 3 days is quite too soon.
