Did you have unprotected sex with her or not? There is no birth control method that is 100% so any time you have sex, you risk pregnancy. My sister-in-law became pregnant recently when a condom broke, so it can happen.

If she's bleeding at all, it's likely that she is not pregnant. It can happen, but red blood will most likely indicate that she is not.

1 of every 4 condoms fails. Either the way it is applied, rips, slips whatever... not sure how she could only bleed during the day and not at night when she is on her period, unless she just has a lighter flow when she rests, but it wouldn't hurt to just have her get a pregnancy test.
