How can I delay my period and is it expensive?
I'm supposed to go visit my boyfriend in ny on feb 18 which is the same day I'm due for my unwanted period!:( I've been reading that you can take some sort of pill from your doctor to delay your period until after you don't want it.. I'm wondering how do I get it and is it expensive? Please help. Thanks!:)

    Check out these ideas:

    Skip...Period...Honeymoon - The Well-Timed Period

For some people a healthy exercise regimen will suppress/delay menstruation.

Also, being pregnant delays them about... 40 weeks. Hehe.

The hormone Seasonale can be taken and reduces period to 4 times a year. Not sure of the cost.

If you are taking birthcontrol, you talk to the parmarcists and they will help you pick which pills to skip to hold off your period for a while or even stop it for the visit. If you plan to have kids in the future you don't want to do this regularly because it will mess with your fertility cycle and you will end up paying for it further done the road. Trust me, I know what the Dr's say but I have had girlfriends who regret playing the dodge the red bullet game now that they are ready to have kids and going to a fertility specialist is their only option.-

    Good Luck.
