Hey there,
I am 7 weeks pregnant and I have a very sore jaw and teeth - not sure if this is related but has anyone else had this when being pregnant?
Any advice would be great.

Your calcium levels sound down due to being pregnant. Are you taking any kind of vitamins?
I am only taking folic acid and a mulit vitamin. Maybe I need calcium too?
Got to thinking about this last night and I think you might need some additional Vitamin C as well. Try eating fresh oranges instead of drinking OJ and take an additional Vitamin C pill. This sounds like scurvy. Remember in the old days back in the 1700's when sailors on ships would come down with scurvy due to no fresh fruit? Well, that was due to lack of Vitamin C. No, I'm old, but not that old to remember the 1700's. LOL!
Don't be in the habit of eating ice either as this puts a huge strain on both your jaws and your teeth. You could actually chip a tooth doing this also. I used to love frozen Milky Way bars and I bit into one and broke a chip out of one of my front teeth from this! You could break one of your molars and then you'll have a tough time trying to get a dentist to do anything for you due to being pregnant.
Leedee, please do not take anything without asking your dr/midwife first especially since you're in your first trimester. Pregnancy puts a lot of pressure on a woman's body and her teeth and gums are no exception. When you're done talking to your dr, you may need to pay your dentist a visit as well - a dental check up during pregnancy is advised anyway. Best wishes for your pregnancy.
In the olden days they used to say that you gave up a tooth for every pregnancy. Back then they didn't have prenatal vitamins, nevertheless a friend of mine ended up losing two teeth during her first pregnancy because of calcium deficiency. Check with your doctor first, but it sounds to me like you need a calcium supplement or start eating foods high in calcium.
