    Broken trust
Hi I have broken my trust with my girlfriend, and we are working on it trying to make it better. I got caught up in internet chating, well it became sexual in nature and now it has ruiened my relationship with my girl... I see it as a problem and want to fix it so bad! I have made measures to fix it.. but here is the real problem she is in school and I have to leave in a month to go back to work in Alaska were we both work in the summer! And well it is the worst thing for her right now because of the trust issue.. and I really don't know what to do or say.. we will be apart for about a month and a half until she is done with school.. Iam going to come back for her birthday in April but its still a real problem. And I just don't know what to do? Anyone have any thoughts?

Talk to her, tell her why you did it, there must have been something deep down making you want to do that. There might be some issues there you need to work through

Be open with your, talk to her, and understand that trust isn't something that's given, it's earned. Let her know your sorry and that you won't make that mistake again... and don't.
It may or may not work out in the end, just be understanding.

First stop doing the thing that has upset her in the first place, and realise any healing on her part will take time, a lot of it. So be honest open, and do whatever it takes, so that she can be reasured that you will not repeat the mistake again. Its not that easy to get trust back, once broken. Don't expect to be forgiven, and this whole thing forgotten, so watch what you do, and understand how she feels. She will be watching you closely now, so be aware what you do, and make sure your doing the right thing, no excuses.
