Hi my husband works for a railroad contractor. His boss is refusing to pay him this weeks paycheck until next week because they said his time sheet was not in "his folder". After hearing this he went and found his time sheet in another employees folder whose time sheet had been picked up. He told his boss this and his boss called him a liar. My husband goes to work everyday, when he has to travel for work he pays transportation and food, he worked 26 hours straight starting New Years Eve at 10am till Jan 2 8am. He is the only one working right now because I'm in nursing school full time. I was just wondering if there was any law against this. It's hard making ends meet as it is. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP. We are in no position for him to change jobs at this time.
