    Hair disaster/perm
K so I have really long hair and I hate doing it in the mornings it takes me about an hour to straighten, and on top of that my starightener freaked out on me and is no longer working so I have to curl my hair like every day in order for it too look okay and I'm sick of it, I'm thinking about a perm instead of buying a new straightener. But I don't want like a really bongy curl... not cute, I'm thinking long spirals but extremely loose can I get that?

Hey, I'm thinking go for the perm, but just try one of thoes kiddie perms. And see how things turn out. Long loose spirals sounds cute.

Well it seems like we have the same type of hair, and I want the same perm. I have long hair and half of it is black. My salon told me that I had to wait until my hair grew all the black out or they could cut it all out then perm it. I geuss you can't really perm dyed black hair because it will be really frizzy at the ends(that's what they told me). So before you go in and get a perm, consult with your stylist and see if it's okay to perm it. This is if you have dyed black hair.. By the way there are some different kinds of perms, acid base, alkaline base, and exothermic. I heard that acid base is good for fragile or dyed hair. I just don't understand why "black" dyed hair is an exception to this method? If anyone knows, please join in.
