How do I sharpen a 8 inch table saw blade?:)
Short answer, with a file or diamond hone. It is important to understand how the teeth on a saw blade are pitched left and right. Get a magnifier glass and inspect the teeth to see the pitch or set. The set creates a kerf so the cut is a bit wider than the blades thickness. You must match the bvlades set perfectly to achieve a good resharpened blade, not easy for most homeowners.
Thanks.. I found a hardware store that will do it for 4 bucks.. Thanks."X":)Quote:

Thank You for this information -- I'm sure some saw blades are worth sharpening...
And although there are people who are trained by Fowley -- I don't know of any in
The area I live -- Maybe some cities have them...
Most hardware stores have this as a service but $4 is really cheap. My ACE has an old fella that does all their sharpening out of his garage.
