Symons showers have temperature control limits built into them and are adjustable. You also need to insure your hot inlet port is not partially blocked. Do you know how to disassemble and remove the cartridge?

Ballengerb1 is right on track... Symmons has the best valve ever.. if you ask me..?

Here I would shut water supply to whole house... or at shutoffs to shower valve... and then release pressure through shower valve (turn on shower valve to drain) and just remove the cartridge assembly and take it to the nearest home supply store and replace it (parts are available everywhere... what I like about Symmons valves). The replacement... called a T-10 replacement by Symmons... costs about $32.00.

Otherwise, again, like Ballengerb1 said... look at hot water inlet pressure and see if that is diminished... keep us updated.
