A company that you work for no longer wants you there and they fired you today and then they tell you that you can't work in the same industry or I will have my lawyers go after you. We know your history and we had a background check on you can anything be done to them.

Most likely, no. It's unfortunate, but you probably signed an agreement when you accepted the position that stated "if separated from *said company* you can not be employed by *so and so company* and or *certain industry*. It's a way that companies protect themselves against industrial espionage and trade secret theft. The agreement you signed is a legally binding contract. There may be grounds, however, if you are a minor. The other upside is I've very rarely seen action taken against "normal" employees.
