I have a standard Poodle who is 11 years old, the last couple nights he will not sleep at all. Walks throughout the night or lays down with eyes open. I'm worried he may be afraid to go to sleep. Has anyone experienced this?

I would say it is probably a physical problem, unless something has changed in your household like someone moved out or moved in a new pet, bed moved etc. Could there have been a storm in the night that upset him if not then I would look at the phyiscal side and consider taking him to the vet.

Tg I am so glad to hear it he and you got a peaceful nights sleep. It does not take much to upset their world sometimes.
