Get a new ignitor and replace.

Thanks, I changed the ignitor and it worked, however I have a new issue now when the original issue started I touched the dial not sure if I messed up the dial settings or not now the heater works but the fan never stops even when I turn off from the thermostat. If I keep the house on 65 degrees it put the temp up to 65 and the fire stops but the fan runs constantly blowing cold air.

    Thanks

    York stellar furnace issue
I have a York stellar, 15 year old Gas furnace, initially I had the burner issue and I replaced it , now it works however I have a new issue now when the original issue started I touched the dial not sure if I messed up the dial settings or not now the heater works but the fan never stops even when I turn off from the thermostat. If I keep the house on 65 degrees it put the temp up to 65 and the fire stops but the fan runs constantly blowing cold air. My only option to turn the furnace off is to turn off power on the furnace. Seems like the issue is small but I don't know what to do.

    Thanks

Make sure your thermostat does not have the "Fan" switch set to "On". It should be "Auto". Also, if you were inside the thermostat at all, make sure a wire didn't get loose and short out, causing the fan to run all the time.

Sounds simple, but at least worth a shot...

I also changed the ignitor but the timing is off and it won't release gas to start any idea why?

I would really like an answer to this question too. I have the same problem I think, the ignitor glows and gets real hot, then clicks and shuts off right before the gas lights. Sometimes it lights sometimes not. I replaced the ignitor and found the new one had half the ohms, and it worked for about a week, now its doing the same thing again.
