    Garnishment of Bank Account
I reside in Pennsylvania. Presently, I am on Social Security Disability. I believe that a creditor from 1998 has taken money out of my bank account without my authorization. Is that legal? I thought in Pennsylvania they can only garnish for CS and taxes. Can anyone clarify? Thank you.

If they took money from your account, they would have gotten a judgement, did you not get served a judgement If you are just on social security you may be able to stop the garnishment but you will need notify the court and the bank of your status. You may need an attorney
