We are doing a nursery for our soon to be daughter and we want to hang a chair rail molding in her room. I don't want it to be the regular height, I want it to be almost the height of the top of the door and windows.. Can you tell me some heights?

If you want to go that high I don't know if id use chair rail, but instead us basecap. Whichever you chose, you may want to go with the window height instead of the door, and drop the molding down maybe 2" lower than the top of the casing and run that height around the room. 2" lower from the top of the casing is where the top of the molding your installing would be.
