    Declared Bankrupt, Can they repossess
Hi, my name is Joanne, I'll get to the point, my partner has just been sent a letter saying he has to pay an almost £9000 Judgement Debt, he was sent this letter by High Court Enforcement Officers (who would know that he was declared bankrupt in 2003), who also claim that if he can't pay in full, in cash, imemediatly (which is completely impossible for him, I mean he can't even take out a loan because he I bankrupt) then they will seize sufficient goods to satisfy this debt, and that we should be warned that unless the debt is paid quickly, arrangements will be made to complete the execution. I was under the impression that if you were bankrupt, they can't repossess, y/n? Ive been trying Google all night, but have almost given up hope on finding any information on this subject, can anyone help?

According to USA laws, the bankruptcy I know Chapter 7
    If you filed bankruptcy
You name the creditors you can not afford to pay

If you want to keep paying on a car, the house or whatever you do not include them and keep paying.

If you can't afford to keep car, house, whatever you file bankruptcy against that and it goes back to them.

If they then sell said possession(s) you have to pay for the difference that they lost.
Say you still owe 19000 and they sell it for 12000 you owe 8000 plus any fees they may include.

I don't know much about how our chapter 13 works
