    Hello I am the wife
Hello everyone my name is Marie-Lena I am the wife of davejag, I just seen this on this favorite list and thought Id say hello. I always wondered where my husband had all the right answers to our questions, well now I know I guess.

I as well have a question I am 24 weeks pregnant, I am a high risk pregnancy I am off on medical maternity already. I have no energy (I still have morning sickness) and I have to sleep at least 10 to 12 hours a night. Plus I have nose bleeds at least 2 to 3 times a day what's wrong with me?

I hope someone can help thank you have a great day.

You are pregnant :-) Why are you a high risk pregnancy? Have you spoken to your OB? Any other symptoms?

I know that when my sister had nose bleeds and anybody else I ever knew that had regular nosebleeds it was a lack of vitamin K and/or C
Nose Bleeds: Overlooked Causes and Treatments of Epistaxis
You have to be careful with taking vitamin K if you take medicine for your blood.

    Nosebleed.
Make sure you take your prenatal vitamins.

My daughter is high risk with her pregnancy too because she had hpv.

I am at high risk because I have had 2 failed pregnancies, plus a car accident, and at 18 weeks I had contractions and the doctors had to stop the labour, I have what they call a stitch in.

I have not talked to my doctor about these symptoms because he is on vacation to Hawaii for 3 weeks lucky him. The man he left in charge is a doctor you just don't want to go see.

Is his nurse available? You don't necessarily have to go see the doctor, but just find out a little more about what could be going on. 3 weeks is a long time to wait in a high risk pregnancy. I would find someone else, a Dr. or Nurse, that you are comfortable contacting while your doc is away.

I don't think given your situation you should be taking any advice from anyone except a medical professional. There is too much at stake.

My opinion only... sorry I am not willing to suggest anything... I just don't feel qualified or that I want the responsibility of what happens if I am wrong.

GOOD LUCK!! I HOPE YOU HAVE A HEALTHY BABY!

I am sure we had nothing to do with it, and your husband is just a wonderful and smart man.

But with a high risk, your doctor should be on speed dial and you talking to him with the slightest issues.

Yes you would think he would be on speed dial, the doctor I have is a really good doctor but of course he does need sometime to vacation. I have found a nurse I can speak to this evening when she is on shift, all let you all know then. P.S I married the most wounderful man in the world you are right Fr_Chuck about that.
