I met a guy through the internet, and we really hit it off, very nicely... after sometime, I realised I loved him, and he also reciprocates my feelings. The problem is, he doesn't have any relatives, but he also says he isn't an orphan.. my ma, thinks that is a big criteria, and he is lying about it to me... but I believe him, and love him too much.

Don't know, what I should do... is he lying to me? Or he really doesn't have any? Can that be possible?

And he is quite sensitive about this issue, and I am afraid to ask again.

Why worry at this stage? He will tell you soon enough. If you push him too much he may pull away! It is about you and him, not anyone else.

It is not that uncommon either. I have a friend, she is 30, and she has no relatives. She was an only child, both her parents died, and her grandparents are also dead. She has cousins and an aunt but that is it.

Maytbe there is some reason for not wanting you to meet his family

I think I went through that stage , rebeling against parents is nothing new

, maybe he is unsure what they will think of someone new in his life...

For now you are very important to him, it will all wash out later

Don't let this stop you from seeing the good things about him...

Well, he says his parents are dead. He had one aunt,and she died few years back suffering from cancer. He has one uncle, who is still alive , but is unmarried... nd he has no cousines, or any other relatives...

Can that be possible?
Seems like he is all alone in the world...

Who knows, there might be some underlying issues with him and his family, something that may need to be addressed if a relationship is formed, but for now don't worry about it, get to know who he is and eventually the subject will come up
