I believe this question is related to the topic of moral turpitude. I believe moral turpitude convictions will bar someone from gaining certain licenses to practice, such as a cpa.

Ms is correct. If your conviction involved a crime of moral turpitude, then I doubt you'll get certified. However, if you're just an ordinary drug pusher, then you'll be fine.
