Can I legally sign my rights over to the mother of my alleged children do to the fact the mother and her boyfriend do not want me around or to talk to them
I am not even going to dignify this post with a response! You are willing to give up your kids just because mommy and BF don't want you around? What kind of father are you?
If I were to make an educated guess you are asking if you can give up your rights to avoid paying support... answer is nope!
Man up and be a dad! Even if you aren't the best dad in the whole wide world having you around will help your children a great deal.
And if their mom and her BF don't want you around, get a court order saying you can be around, don't give up your kids... you would never forgive yourself... and they would never forgive you!
I guess I did dignify it with a response... whoops... my bad!
There are many, many threads that deal with this issue. Please review them.
As long as you pay your child support payment each month, just don't go around and it is all solved. Signing over rights does not stop child support payments. If the new partner wants to adopt you can sign over your rights THEN, and the child support will stop, but only then.
As stated, there are TONS of thread on this.
But short answer is no... relinquishing your rights would only prevent you from having the right to make any decisions regarding the children. You would still have to pay child support.
Now, if or when the time comes that the mom gets married, and should her husband want to adopt the children, then you could relinquish your rights to the husband and allow him to adopt the children.
