Hey guyz, I have this true/false question about trademark's amortization under U.S GAAP, I hope someone knows about it :

Question : Beginning of 2002, U.S financial statements, U.S GAAP was changed to require that trademarks be amortized on the straight-line basis.

Did this happen ?if it did happened, then is the year right ?

US GAAP or ' generally accepted accounting principles in the United States' and yes, the amortization did happen in 2002. You may now proceed to Park Avenue and forfeit $200.
