:) I live in the state of North Carolina and I am trying to get a felony off my record. I have changed from my wild ways and every one knows a real second chance means your slate is almost clean... how can I do this?

    Hello contessa:

If you don't have any experience wending your way through the courts pro se, then you're going to need a lawyer.

It depends on how long ago the felony conviction took place and for what and if you have been arrest and conviction free ever since. Any criminal attorney will be able to handle this for you. It takes about 3-6 months for this to go through on average.
