Hi, after a few months my "up" lights on my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan became very very dim. My downlights work perfect with normal intensity and all the fan speeds and rotation are normal. My remote control all seems normal-it is just those upper lights that bother me because they are dim and not right. Could my PC (electronic board) be partially bad in the upper fan body?

Have you tried holding down the button for those lights and/or the dimmer button?

Hi, that fixed it! The contractor installed it months ago and didn't give us any literature. So-we thought the light buttons were just on/off only for each light. Somehow the top one must have gotten pushed into the dim mode. Either dim or off, that's all we got--until now! It seems so silly but, without instruction or literature-who knew? Now were happy with the new option that we didn't know we had and the nice advice you gave that fixed it. Thanks! Howard
