    Grey water in the backyard
When I wash my clothes the backyard fills with water I think my line needs to be hooked into the sewer line but I don't know where to look to see if this is done or not . Where do I begin:eek: I have city water not a septic tank I had my house lifted 2 years ago could this have somethig to do with it. If it is under my foundation and a plumber had to come do you have any idea about how much something like this would cost. I have city sewer and city water but I don't know why the water from the washer is coming up from under the house

Are you on a city sewer or a septic tank? If you have a tank your field may be saturated and the tank needs to be pumped and inspected.

You say that you have city water but it is not clear whether you have city sewage or a septic tank. You said that the water is in your back yard. Does it come from underneath the house, how far away from the house is it, is there a pipe going out to that area?

We are still waiting for you to clarify "i have city water not a septic tank " City water and not a septic tank are not the same issue. City water means you do not have a well. I says nothing about your sewage system. City sewer or septic, I'm thinking septic.
