I had my period December 9th - December 13th. I had sex the 14th. Now I thought I was on my period but it is a little early and is bright red and runny instead of dark red and thick. Last time it didn't last the usually 6 days but it lasted 4 instead. I have been having bad headaches in the morning and I feel bloated. [signs of period] But I can tell its different. Can I be pregnant?

Ever period is different every month. But if thibk there is something else going on go out and buy a home test see what it says and then make a doctors appointment with your obgyn.

If you had sex only 1 day after your period, its HIGHLY unlikely that you could be pregnant. Estrogen levels could not have replenished enough to release an egg only one day later.

However, sperm *can* live in fertile cervical fluid for up to 5 days inside your body. There is a slim chance of pregnancy but since you did bleed again, it's a very very slim chance.
