Heater blowing cool air after power trip.
The heater has been blowing cool air for almost a day and a half. The temp reading for upstairs is 50 degrees despite the thermostat being set on about 75. The problem started after the power was tripped regarding another problem (which was corrected). I think my wife tripped the furnace switch. The power has been out before but the heater never stopped blowing heat. I went into the attic and flipped what I assumed was the reset switch. After doing so a red light started back to blink and the blower started but cool air is blowing. I don't know anything about heating and air so I hope I have been specific enough for someone to tell me what's wrong.

The furnace is by Bryant but I do not know the model number. Maybe you can tell me where to look for the model number. What would make the ignition not ignite? It appears everything is working except the ignition not igniting...

If you cannot find the model number on the metal tag for the furnace you are in over your head. You would have to find other specific parts which will be more difficult than the metal tag and you will have to have a meter to test the part when and if you find it.

Do yourself a big favor and call a professional HVAC person.
