My husband's parents own some land free and clear that they want to put into his (my husband's) name. It is in Brown County Ohio. What do we need to do to have it transferred from them to him?

Get a title company or a real estate attorney to do a quitclaim deed from them to him.

While it can be done by yourself, on something like this, it is always better to use a professional

You also have to consider the tax consequences. The IRS will consider this a gift and subject to the rules of gift taxes.
