    Filing Teeth
What would it cost for me to get my teeth filed down so that they were straight?

Each dentist in different areas charge different rates. Do you have dental insurance? If so, does it cover cosmetic treatments? These are questions you need the answers to. Then find a dentist and get an estimate there.

Mowerman is correct, find a dentist and ask for an estimate. Remember, filing teeth down can cause your teeth to be sensitive which may not be a temporary thing. It depends on how much "filing" you want.

No, I don't have dental insurance. And have never heard of one that covers ANY cosmetic treatments. And I want little filing down, mostly just my two front teeth...

I would think, if it's just a tiny bit of filing needed a dentist would only charge you an examination fee and for his time doing the filing. I'd guess here in Canada you'd look at about $150.00 at most.

I just went to the dentist today and he told me $49. A tooth.
